This World Environment Day we’re chatting to you about all of the plans we have to get a little greener. Well, a lot greener!
The proof is in the packaging! (Literally!)
We send out thousands of orders a day. And we’re known for focusing on the ‘oooh-aaah’ sensation when it comes to our packaging. We want it to be special!
But there’s no reason it can’t be sustainable too...
It needed to be realistic, minimal, hygienic, and of course - stylish. After months of researching and redesigning, we think we’ve cracked it!
Our new mailing bags - the ones that you get handed (or dropped) by the mailman - are now made from 95% recycled plastic. Think of all those previous lives! What was it before your Lounge bag? A water bottle, part of a shoe…. a piece of a spaceship?
Well, that might be a stretch. But you never know!
Our new mailing bag even feels like it has history, like it's been on a journey. And we can’t lie - we love that!

Additionally, our product bags (those ones your pants are in) are now made from 100% recycled plastic. That’s right, 100%!These are our secret to keeping your pieces from getting damaged as they make their way all over the world to get to you!
We know a lot of you will be planning to throw them straight into the recycling bin - which is great! But have you ever thought about keeping them? Popping your pants and bras back into them once you’ve washed them will help them stay protected in your underwear drawer. We’ve all had that moment where you’re in a rush and rummaging like a mad woman. Avoid those snags and pulls by keeping your favourite pairs as safe as can be! In your little recycled plastic pouch. We loooooove a multitasker.
We’re not finished yet!
Alongside your products, we also include returns and exchange cards in your package. We’ve been working hard on making Lounging as easy as possible. With free returns and exchanges available in the UK, US, France, Sweden and Germany! So, we know… that’s a lot of cards.
But we’ve got peace of mind. Because they, too, are made from 100% recycled materials.
Oh! There’s something else in your parcel that’s not the product. It’s attached to the product.

We’re talking about the swing tags! The little pieces of card that are attached to your product, assuring you that this really is authentic Comfort Made Sexy. Not to sound like a broken record, but they’re made from recycled materials too!

We hope that our Loungers can take comfort not only in their products, but in knowing that we’re on their side, as well as the lovely and ever-generous Mother Nature’s side!
And whilst we’re proud of everything we’ve discussed. We’re not stopping there.
There is still continued research ongoing and more updates in the making, so that any gap we may find is filled with evergreen, sustainable choices. So watch this space.
