For many people, the highlight of their work office might be the unlimited tea and coffee and the odd team social. For us Loungers, it’s so much more than that.
We’re all pretty much settled in our new HQME now and let’s just say, it’s any Lounger’s dream. Besides the endless Brew Bras, wellness rooms, our incredible CUP Cafe and the onsite gym, the main star of the show is She.
Who is ‘She’ you ask? Let us fill you in, Loungers.
She.
She is a representation of all things Lounge in a paper sculpture format, a female form which beautifully captures our original underwear design from our very own humble beginnings. As soon as you walk into the foyer, there she is, standing beautifully in all of her pride and glory. Now that’s one way of making a statement in our new home.
If you’re a dedicated Lounger already, you’ll know all too well that our classic Triangle Set was our very first underwear design and it’s still one of our Female Family favourites today.
Sketched on paper by our founders, Dan and Mel, our first Triangle design was cut out and pieced together with nothing but a single thread. This paved the way for the making of Lounge and the brand’s first big idea. She encapsulates all of this.
Why is 'She' so important?
As a female-forward brand, we’re all about celebrating the successes of our Female Family and Loungers worldwide. ‘She’ is a dedication to our mission, our values and a celebration of femininity. Women are pretty incredible, after all.
She is so much more than just a sculpture, but a reminder of an epic dream, brought to life by our Female Family and threaded together by beautiful moments of what it truly means to be a woman.
She is our inspiration.
She is our heart and soul.
She is our heritage.
She is our future.
So, if you’re heading over to our HQ one day for an interview or just stopping by to admire the building (we don’t blame you), remember to embrace her in all of her glory. Trust us, you definitely won’t miss her.
